Focus mode

Push Square's rundown reports officers taken off the minimap entirely, which removes the habit that carried every previous Grand Theft Auto chase. You look at the street instead of the corner of the screen.

• Police blips are gone from the minimap
• Focus is held rather than toggled, per the previews
• It also marks collectible detail and mission openings
• Rockstar has not published a control scheme for it

With the wanted meter carrying a description of you, and the police no longer drawn on the map, escaping becomes about what you can see and what they can recognise rather than about reading dots.
