GTA 6 pre-order guide: what's real so far

Rockstar has not opened pre-orders or announced any editions yet. Here is what is actually confirmed, what is rumor, and what to expect — with no invented details.

Release date & platforms

Confirmed

Grand Theft Auto VI releases on Thursday, November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar announced the date on November 6, 2025, after two delays.

Editions & pre-order bonuses

Not announced

Rockstar has announced no editions, no pre-order bonuses, and no pre-order date for GTA 6. With both GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar detailed editions and opened pre-orders only in the final months before launch — so a similar window would be plausible here, but that is our reading of Rockstar's track record, not an announcement. Any 'edition lineup' circulating today is fabricated.

HeistAtlas editorial note — based on Rockstar's past releases, not on any official source.

Price

Rumor

There is no official price. The often-quoted $70-80 range for the standard edition comes from comments attributed to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick; press coverage also notes a $100 standard edition is considered unlikely but not ruled out. Until Rockstar or Take-Two publishes official pricing, treat every specific number as speculation.

PC version

Not announced

GTA 6 is confirmed only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; a PC version has not been announced. Rockstar has historically shipped PC ports later, but there is nothing official to pre-order on PC — and no PC date to wait for yet.
