GTA 6 weapons: named guns and everything else spotted
Rockstar has named three guns and shown a good few more. Rival weapon lists run to forty entries because they count the 2022 leak; this one counts what the public has actually seen.
The named ones
All three come from the Ultimate Edition renders, where the in-game name is readable on the weapon itself: Jason's Girardi ES9, Lucia's Klose K17 and a matching pair of Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers. Each has its own database entry with the official render.

What the Extended Look showed about handling
The 26 minute video is the only official footage with a weapon HUD in it. The carbine's counter reads 36 rounds in the magazine against 268 in reserve, and weapons come out of a car trunk rather than out of thin air.
Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
A bolt-action rifle spotted in official promotional material, identified by press as taking after the Remington Model 700. Its in-game name has not been confirmed.
Carbine rifle
The M16-style carbine Jason fires during the Extended Look's bank getaway, the weapon the video spends more screen time on than any other. Its ammunition counter reads 36 in the magazine and 268 in reserve.
Double-Barreled Shotgun
A classic double-barreled shotgun spotted in official GTA VI media, catalogued in press roundups of weapons shown so far. Its in-game name has not been confirmed.
Girardi ES9
Jason's personalised sidearm, a Beretta-pattern service pistol included with the GTA VI Ultimate Edition. The slide is engraved "J. DUVAL" and the grip carries "SUA SPONTE", the motto of the US Army Rangers.
Why this list is shorter than the others
Lists elsewhere carry weapon names, damage values and wheel layouts taken from the stolen 2022 build. We do not use that material before release in any form, so a gun appears here only once Rockstar or the press has shown it.
Updated as official material lands. The class names are ours; an in-game name appears only where Rockstar has printed one.
Frequently asked questions
How many weapons are in GTA 6?
Unknown. Rockstar has published no weapon list, and the arsenal only becomes countable at release. Three guns have in-game names so far and about half a dozen more have been identified by class.
