The state where GTA VI takes place - Rockstar's fictional spin on Florida. Leonida stretches from the neon streets of Vice City through swamps, faded coastal towns, and industrial heartland to wilderness on its northern border, with each region revealed so far carrying its own distinct character and criminal economy.

What the Extended Look showed of the state

Outside Vice City the video moves through wetlands crossed by airboat, open water you can swim and dive in, a stilt house on the water with a basketball hoop under it, and a seafront circuit for racing. The pause map at 19:00 draws the whole state as photographic top-down imagery rather than a road diagram. Preview coverage collected by Vice puts Leonida at roughly three times the landmass of Red Dead Redemption 2's world and around double GTA 5's playable area, with each region meant to feel distinct in buildings, residents and atmosphere. Those are reported estimates, not Rockstar figures.
