A waterfront neighbourhood in Vice City of low storefronts, graffiti and boat ramps. Most of the Extended Look's free-roam block happens here, from the parking-garage getaway to the gym, the basketball court and the storefront row.

Storefronts, water and graffiti

SVG names Bayside as the neighbourhood Jason and Lucia arrive in after a high-speed chase and a change of cars, and describes storefronts backing onto beach. The video bears that out: a row of arcaded shops under hand-painted signs, "Video Forever" next to a gadget repair place and a pawn-style jeweller advertising cash, with a red convertible parked at the kerb and a stretch of open water a street away.

The activities section of the presentation uses the district as its backdrop. A gym with a bench press bound to timed trigger presses, a basketball hoop under a stilt house on the water, jet skis, kayaks and dirt bikes, a burning car abandoned in a parking garage after a chase, and a wall sign warning that cameras operate in the area, which is the same identification system the police use to build a description of you.
