Valentina is the reason the last act happens. She hires Jason and Lucia as private security for Andrés de León, goes with them to meet him off the plane, and at the party for the opening of Megamundo's first US headquarters she introduces the pair to the company's COO, Petra Navarro. Minutes later an armed crew walks into that party.

Valentina was introduced in GTA Online's Money Fronts update, tied to the launderer Mr Faber. Seeing her in a GTA 6 scene makes her the first character the press has identified as carrying over from Online into the new game, which is a small but real signal about how connected Rockstar intends the two to be.
