Rockstar put GTA 6 in a fashion magazine: seven new official stills and a Dazed cover

The day before the Extended Look, Rockstar did something it has never done for Grand Theft Auto: it handed a batch of official screenshots to a fashion magazine and let them be laid out as an editorial. Dazed's autumn 2026 issue, titled "New Idols", carries seven new in-game images and puts Jason and Lucia on the cover, the first time the two have shared a print cover anywhere.

The set is not just the protagonists. Boobie Ike, Raul Bautista and the Real Dimez pair, Roxy and Bae-Luxe, are all in it, photographed the way a magazine photographs people rather than the way a publisher photographs a game. The captions do what fashion captions do and name the clothes, which is how a handful of in-game labels became public: Stock 305, Nola, Ferruccio Tucci, This/That and Blagueurs, with custom jewellery credited to Caliber. None of those brands had been named before.

Two things make this worth logging beyond the pictures. First, it came with Rockstar's first on-record interviews about the game, after years of the studio saying nothing outside its own Newswire. Second, it is exactly the marketing Take-Two's Strauss Zelnick has been describing on earnings calls all year, reaching past the games press to an audience that reads Dazed rather than IGN. A fashion cover twenty-four hours before a Netflix premiere is a plan, not a coincidence.

The images are not in the download pack on rockstargames.com, which still holds the May 2025 screenshot set, so the only place to see them at full size is Dazed's own feature. Our breakdown of the video that followed the next evening, with the frames and the sourced status of every claim, is on the Trailer 3 page.
