Miami Heat will host a Vice City Night on the eve of GTA VI
The Miami Heat will turn their arena into Vice City for one game on 18 November, the night before Grand Theft Auto VI launches. The club's official page calls it "a historic partnership" and gives the details: the Heat play the Milwaukee Bucks at the Kaseya Center, tip-off at 7:00 pm Eastern time.
For that night the Heat promise a one-off court "built for Vice City" and a completely reimagined uniform. Fans can sign up to hear when the uniform drops. More activities inside the arena start from the season's opening night, and a Court Culture Vice City clothing line is already on sale in the team store, with T-shirts at $45 to $55. GTA BOOM reports the game will be shown nationally on ESPN and locally on Local 10.
The night continues the marketing that Miami has been building around the game. Since late September a "Welcome to Vice City" sign has stood on the Kaseya Center roof under Miami-Dade County's deal with Rockstar. Rockstar has not announced the game night itself; the news comes from the Heat. GTA VI launches on 19 November on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
