LOVE, the Paris fashion and culture magazine, has put Grand Theft Auto VI on one of the six covers of its Issue 27, on newsstands from 5 October. The cover is artwork Rockstar made for the magazine: Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval under the line "America's Most Wanted". LOVE announced it on Instagram on 2 October, in a post shared with the Rockstar Games account.

Inside, LOVE's editorial director Kacion Mayers talks to five people from Rockstar: Rob Nelson, co-studio head and head of development at Rockstar North; Rupert Humphries, senior vice president of narrative; James Horton, writing director for the open world; and game writers Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern and Alexa D'Agostino. According to the magazine, the conversation covers a decade of world-building, the research trips behind Leonida and what the American Dream looks like now.

Most of what LOVE has shown so far is about the couple. Lucia wants a better life and will not let anything stand in her way. Jason is her opposite, a man whose circumstances keep making his decisions for him. Gauvey-Kern says the team wanted both to be "vulnerable, tough, flawed" and able to learn from each other. Humphries calls the setting of this Bonnie and Clyde-style story "a pressure cooker for all kinds of insanity". He describes the pair's dream as modest: a house for the family and loans paid off, not wild success.

Horton talks about the world around them. In Ambrosia, the sugar town modelled on Clewiston and Lake Okeechobee, you can spot a "Vote Erin Henshaw" sign sponsored by Allied Crystals, hear a campaign robocall, catch ads on the radio and a political talk show. "There's just foreground you're not paying attention to right now," he says.

The posts also carry new Rockstar images: Jason and Lucia by a motorcycle, the two at a pool table, Vice Beach police at night and a street with a mural. On the KD Presse store, where each cover costs €25, the GTA VI edition is already sold out. Rockstar has not mentioned the issue on its Newswire. The game launches on 19 November on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
