The Extended Look puts a weapon silhouette in the top right corner with two numbers above it, magazine and reserve. During the getaway the numbers run 36 and 268, then 37 and 205, then 38 and 180 as the fight continues, and the silhouette is unmistakably an M16-pattern carbine with a carrying handle and a long barrel. It is the first time a Grand Theft Auto VI weapon has been shown with its ammunition economy attached.

Weapon round-ups at PC Gamer and TheGamer have logged a carbine as the most frequently spotted gun across GTA 6 footage, appearing in robbery scenes, police shootouts and highway sequences, with at least two visual variants that are probably the same rifle wearing different attachments. Rockstar has published no weapon list, no names and no stats, so the class here is a description of what is on screen.
