Trailer 2 shows Jason and Lucia arming themselves from the trunk of a car, a shot fans immediately read as a nod to Tommy and Lance Vance doing the exact same thing in 2002's Vice City. Rockstar is returning to the same map two decades on, and small staged moments like this one signal that the studio knows exactly which memories it is playing to.
