The bills shown in the trailer feature Thaddeus Waxman and Franklin Hardin — fictional US presidents who were also referenced in Red Dead Redemption 2. The $1 note carries Hardin, RDR2's former president. It is a small but deliberate thread connecting GTA's modern Leonida to the historical world of Red Dead, the kind of shared-universe wink Rockstar has used before.
