Weather that fights back

Spotted in trailer

A sign in Trailer 2 references an incoming storm named Hurricane Roxy, which fans and press took as a hint that extreme weather may play a bigger role than in past games. It lines up with the flooding glimpsed in the first trailer and Florida's real reputation for hurricane season, pointing to a Leonida where the environment itself can turn hostile.

Has Rockstar confirmed this easter egg?

No. The find sits in official material (Trailer 2) and was written up by TechWiser; Rockstar does not comment on easter eggs, so this entry describes the footage and nothing more.
